Today is the first day of Bakdes. I supposed to go to school
at 6 am but because i woke up late, i finally arrived at 6.40. Luckily, the
others didn’t leave me. I joined the 13th public transportation. I thought i
was the only girl in that car, but there were Indri and Wayda.
The journey to the village is so much fun. We sang together
to the song that our driver play. It was funny because the song is ‘dangdut’
songs or old songs. Some of our friends slept for a while, until we arrive at
the ‘Balai Desa’.
In Balai Desa, i sat outside because i thought the chairs
inside ‘Balai Desa’ weren’t for the students. I was so bored while listening to
the speech because the speech is spoken with Sundanese language and i don’t
understand Sundanese.
I took some pictures at Balai Desa and had a walk with my
friend, Grace. After we had a walk, we went to the dining room to take our food
because we were so hungry. The line is so long. I queued in that line about 15-20
minutes. After we ate, at about 12 o’clock, we directly went to our house
there. I was placed with Athaya, Elvina, and Fariza. We lived at Mr. Abdul’s
house.
Mr. Abdul is a farmer . But we couldn’t go to work with him
because usually he go to work for 3 days and 2 nights. It was impossible to us to
come with him, even when we wanted to. Luckily, Mrs. Abdul is working too. She
works at the field near our house. We were very excited to go to work tomorrow
morning.
In the afternoon, we went to the bathroom, which was outside
the house. People can easily look inside the bathroom, and that made me a
little bit worry about my business in
the bathroom. After we checked the bathroom, we went to carrot field with the
other classmate. And we took pictures of us and ourself with a great view.
Finally, in the end of the day, we ate with Mr.Abdul’s
family. It was delicious! And after we ate, we go to sleep.
